Feature Requests

Audio notification alerts for both low volume/no sound detection and unexpected recording stoppages during sessions. This would help clinicians catch issues immediately rather than discovering incomplete transcripts at the end of the day when they're working on notes for multiple clients. The user wants to maintain eye contact with clients and not constantly check their computer screen. While sound alerts might be inconvenient during certain therapeutic techniques like EMDR or mindfulness, the user prioritizes having complete transcripts and accurate generated notes over avoiding occasional audio notifications.

Would love the icon in the taskbar to change colour or have a red dot on it, when there is an active recording - like a notification of sorts. Whether the inside turns red, or the outside turns red or there is a red dot over it... I have thought many times i clicked transcribe and assumed it was recording but it wasn't and I didn't check until the appointment was almost over or was over.

May I know why you keep changing the interface all the time. To start a new consult it takes 3 clicks. Every time you change interface. We have to find where this stupid transcribe button is. Heidi has deteriorated a lot over the past year.

It would be good to be able to add an audio file to a current session instead of starting a new session to upload. Recently experienced a power outage, but was able to save the audio file at the end. I could not upload it to the session I had started the transcription recording with. I had to start new session to upload the file, and move all my notes in the context to the new session.

Can you make the desktop app have a floating mini bubble to enable/disable recording without having to switch from the EMR to the app back and forth. It can be a small bubble that floats above all windows and has a + sign to create new session, and maybe another button for start/stop

Would it be possible to have consultations to remain on Heidi for 2 weeks instead of 1? Sometimes when it's busy I have to wait until I have admin time to sort out referrals & recently our secretary has been off so it has been a challenge. Some of the referrals I am going back to do no longer have the transcription so it's a lot more difficult to do the referral letter.

i have been extremely frustrated this past week as in my virtual appointment heidi keeps NOT recording what the patient is saying, only what i say. This is using the ipad app. I have just updated it this evening so that may help. But i need to know it is going to work before my next clinic on thursday. I have checked the inputs are correct each time. I use headphones (which are the same ones with the same set up i have used with heidi for months with no issue), and even tried today with a different pair of headphones but same issue. THEN i disconnected headphones and just used my ipad with the ipad speaker and the Heidi app but again it didnt record any of what the other person said even no there was no other sound output option for it to be collecting from. What's the issue? Sort it please

If Internet connectivity drops the transcription stops. This has caused real problems for me. It would be ideal if transcription automatically resumed once Internet connectivity resumes, and only stops once we click the stop transcription button.
