1) A voice prompt or alternatively a quick key that terminates the current session, loads a new session and starts recording (three functions in one instruction). A voice command or quick key to skip to the next session between sessions

2) An option to stop recordings automatically if inactivity for longer than a certain period or simply after a certain amount of time. I have erroneously left my heidi recording for the whole night at the end of the day or during lunch time. Obviously first prize is for the user to remember to switch the session off, but a failsafe would be useful.

Hey Haig MacRobert — thanks for sending this through, super helpful. Both the “one action to end + start the next session” idea and an auto-stop failsafe for long inactivity/elapsed time make a lot of sense (we’ve definitely seen the overnight recording scenario). We’ll take a look at what’s feasible here and circle back once we’ve got a clearer plan.
