A 'next level' subject/session management suite

Lots of patients and sessions. Its becoming unwieldy and perhaps somewhat slow when trying to locate a session. There needs to be a function to add categories and labels (think OneNote) and personally I'd like the ability to filter, sort and display sessions based on a range of options (disease label, date ranges etc) with some simple search logic (think Outlook).

Thanks for taking the time to share this — totally hear you. Once you’ve got lots of patients + sessions, finding the right encounter quickly becomes the whole game.
The idea of OneNote-style categories/labels plus Outlook-like filtering (date ranges, disease labels, sort/display options, simple search logic) is really clear and helpful — I’ll share this with the team.
A couple quick questions so we can understand what would help most:
1) What are the top 2–3 filters/sorts you’d use every day (e.g., clinician, date range, diagnosis/disease label, template type, status)?
2) Should labels be applied at the patient level, the session level, or both?
3) When you say it’s “somewhat slow,” is that mainly loading the session list, searching, or opening a session once found?
Also, in case it helps today: Heidi supports linking consultations to group encounters chronologically within patient “files,” and there are some smart filtering/bulk session management options already — but it sounds like you’re after a more powerful tagging + query-style workflow on top of that.
