The customer primarily uses Heidi on the Desktop app and finds the Patients feature to be a significant improvement. Their request is focused on streamlining workflow by reducing navigation steps when starting a new consultation for an existing patient.

You can start a new session from the Patients page using the + button. Just open the Patient side panel and click on the + to expand

I usually will look at the last session of my patient and review it. I wish there was a button that says add a new session for that specific patient. It is inconvenient to click a new session and have to find that patient again to link it.

- How do you currently navigate to a patient's last session?
- Would you like the new session to automatically include any specific information from the last session?
- Are there any other features related to session management that would improve your workflow?

Tom 1. I usually will use the search button, or add a new session first, link it and then click at previous history.
- yes! patient demographics, last plans etc. I usually do a prechart note before I see them.
- Copy and paste to my EHR makes it into one paragraph. I have an old desktop version that still allows me to paste the formatting correctly. So, i have to open and copy and paste from there. I have talked to IT about this already and it seems like an update that was done that does not allow me to do it to an HTML block. I am hoping one day that Heidi will become an EMR on its own...
