Add due date for tasks
C
Carly Floyd
I would like to have a way to add due dates to my tasks so that I could sort/filter by those due sooner vs. later. For example, if I have a task to submit an appeal for an insurance denial, I want to be able to put in a deadline for myself. Then when I look at my tasks, those that are due (or overdue) would be easily identifiable. It might also be helpful to have a way to remind myself of the tasks when they are due, overdue, or due in a specified time frame. Ideally, it would be within the app/platform, but perhaps there also could be a user-defined option to send email reminders if desired? It could be options to toggle, like: email for each task due in 1 day or past due, email daily summary of items due in 1 day or past due, etc. Having options to personalize based on what works best for each user would be great!

Due Date for Task List

Thanks for sharing this — a due date on the task list would be really useful, especially when you’re managing follow-ups throughout the day.
To help us pass this on with the right detail, could you clarify:
1) Do you want due dates on tasks in the in-session list, the master task list, or both?
2) Would you prefer a specific due date/time, or simpler options like “today / this week / next week”?
3) Should due dates trigger reminders/notifications, or is it mainly for sorting/filtering?
If you have an example workflow (e.g., follow-ups, referrals, labs) where this matters most, feel free to share — we’ll share your feedback with the team.
