Adjust Date so can pre prepare for clinics but have transcription reflect date of appointment not date I prepared.

Once load pt details - date is set at that date. I may do this night before a clinic or even earlier. I would like to be able to adjust the date to reflect clinic date.

If I prep patient night before - their name will come up on list on LHS.
It will have date of prep time (ie. 29 March).
I then see patient on 30 March.
I can't change the date though - it is on my LHS list as being a 29 March Patient.
This screen shot doesn't entirely show problem but shows you what it looks like to me.
I don't put in more patient details for most patients yet.
While Heidi supposedly integrated into Elixir -(my PMS) I find it means I can't flick into Elixir notes so I run Heidi as separate browser.
I don't import day list - though would love to if could.
Fixing this would mean I could prep for the week without it affecting the dates on the LHS patient seen.

Thanks for sharing this — totally makes sense, especially if you’re prepping consults the night before.
Just to make sure we capture the right workflow for the team: 
1) Where exactly are you seeing the date auto-set (on the consult header, in the generated note, or both)?
2) When you change the date, what should it affect — just the displayed consult date, the transcription/note date inside the document, and/or how it’s filed in the patient’s timeline?
3) Are you using an integrated appointment book/schedule in Heidi, or entering patient details manually?
If you can share a quick screenshot of where you’re trying to edit the date, that’d help a lot. I’ll pass this feedback on to the team once we’ve got those details.
