Allow the presence of a specific dictation button. Allow dictation to work with external mic such as powermic. This will allow dictation within a note for specific section and to add more detail if needed. Please allow macros for dictation for repeated phrases or paragraphs.

Tom Hey Tom,
- If there could be an option to use a device like a powermic or external mic which had a dictation button that would be great. When pressing the button, mic is enable and dictation can start and then when releasing the button, dictation is stopped.
- Ideally would prefer an option for macros. For example, saying s term like "normal exam" which can then result in a preset text paragraph detailing a full normal examination. Currently, I use Dragon dictation. Id like to ideally just use Heidi and its dictation feature and abandon Dragon all together.

Mayur Govind I achieve this by using Wispr Flow, in conjunction with Heidi but it would be great if Heidi could do this natively https://wisprflow.ai/

Wispr Flow allows DMO style autotexts which they term 'Snippets' which work like this. Like you I'm keen to ditch DMO and Wispr Flow and Heidi allows this for me

Mayur Govind most welcome, I can’t get Wispr flow to recognise the powermic buttons but in fact the keyboard shortcuts I find are even quicker (Crtl+Win for ‘push to record’)

Nick Adams Tried this this morning. It worked well on my mac. But on my Windows PC this AM, I am not able to dictate directly into accuro note. I keep getting the pop up " Click a Text box and press Alt + Shift +Z to paste." If i dictate anywhere else, in chrome etc it seems to work.

Mayur Govind I haven't used Macs for a long time. I'm afraid so can't offer any insights. I haven't had any issues with any text-based application on PC with this, so perhaps keep trying?
