Heidi already currently plays an audible sound when dictation starts and stops (albeit not a click)! It might be worth checking your system volume if you're not hearing it.

If you are hearing it but it's not quite right (wrong timing, too quiet, etc.), let us know what you're experiencing and we're happy to dig into it.
