Hi Heidi team,
I'm trying to get my Heidi transcriptions to paste straight into MedTech (our NZ practice management system). My setup is a Mac connecting to a Windows server where MedTech runs, via a remote desktop session.
With Heidi's default auto-paste, instead of inserting the note it just types a single "v" — the Ctrl+V / Cmd+V keystroke is being sent but the modifier key doesn't carry through the remote session, so only the "v" lands.
I use another tool (Voice Ink) for some transcriptions, and it has a setting to switch the paste method from the default (copy/paste keystroke) to AppleScript. Switching to AppleScript fixed the problem completely — it now pastes cleanly into MedTech.
Does Heidi have an equivalent option — i.e. an AppleScript-based paste, or any paste method other than a simulated Ctrl/Cmd+V keystroke? That seems to be what makes the difference for a Mac → Windows remote desktop setup.

Hey Heath,
That's exactly what's happening. Heidi falls back to a Cmd+V keystroke, and RDP isn't carrying the modifier through. We don't have an AppleScript paste option right now, but the transcript does stay on your clipboard, so a manual paste into MedTech should tide you over. I'll flag this to the team as feedback.
