Client pronouns

For clients in same sex relationships, the program always assume the client is of the opposite gender from their discussed partner, even when I have added context about the client's gender and pronouns in the "additional patient context" section. I have to manually ask the program to change to different pronouns for the client after the note has been generated. It would be great if there was a feature under patient profile to select preferred pronouns for the client.

Thanks for taking the time to share this — and for explaining the workflow impact so clearly. Getting pronouns right (and not forcing you into manual edits after every note) is really important.
A couple quick questions so we can pass the right detail to the team:
1) Are the incorrect pronouns being applied to the patient, the partner, or both?
2) In your “additional patient context,” how are you currently specifying pronouns (e.g., “Patient uses she/her; partner uses they/them”)? If you can paste an example (de-identified), that’d help.
3) Does this happen across all note templates, or only certain ones?
The idea of a pronouns field in the patient profile is a great suggestion — we’ll share this with the team.
