The user wants the ability to delete session transcripts while retaining the generated notes and letters. Currently, deleting transcripts removes all context for future sessions, forcing the user to manually copy and paste previous session data into the context tab to maintain a longitudinal patient history for summary or referral letters. The goal is to allow the AI to pull data from previous notes/letters without requiring the original transcripts to be stored.

In Australia, courts can subpoena all information on file, including session transcripts. Being able to delete transcripts while keeping notes would allow clinicians to retain only necessary information for legal compliance, without extraneous session data. Additionally, keeping all session notes on Heidi would aid in writing GP letters, as Heidi can use all session notes to inform reports.
