Control auto-capitalization in dictate feature

Sarah Weisz
When using the dictate feature to modify or edit existing sentences, the first word is always auto-capitalized. Currently, Sarah has to manually go back and uncapitalize the first word after dictating. She would like the ability to control whether auto-capitalization is applied or not.

When using dictate to edit a generated note, be able to produce a sequence of words all in lower case

After a note has been generated using transcribe, it would be nice when editing that note using dictate (FN key pressed) to be able to make an edit mid-sentence and have the first word of that sequence of words be in lowercase. Currently, the first word is always capitalized, but as often the edit is starting mid-sentence, and it requires the user to go back and change the first word of the new sequence from capitalized to lowercase.
Perhaps having the FN and SHIFT key pressed at the same time could be a feature to achieve this?

Hello Sarah Weisz,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am from the Product team here at Heidi.
I can definitely see how the capitalisation increases the effort in making quick and import edits.
I will share this with the relevant team. They will be in touch with any questions.
Thank you again. Have a nice day.
