IT would also be nice if it the Heidi AI was able to identify any other radiographic issues as a prompt somewhat similar to what Dexis or Pearl.ai do or even identify restorations from photographs or decay off good photographs. (this would be for notes)

Sometimes we will have a new patient who came from overseas or another clinic and they often don't know what implant they have had placed. Each implant system has a dedicated screwdriver and screw system that we would need to order/find.

Hello, sorry this went into my spam folder. I was looking to be able to identify possible brand and make of implant which I've now realised it does!
Ideally it would do it off an OPG and or PA radiograph and if we could pair it with a photograph that would be ideal (multiple sources on the same implant)
We could put it inot the notes but more importantly due to the large number of implants out there we want to narrow down what it could be.
THanks.
Is it able to look through CBCTs?
Tom
Hey Obie Chan — thanks for posting this. Quick couple questions so we understand exactly what you mean by “implant identification” from an uploaded radiograph/photo: are you hoping to detect/confirm an implant is present + where it is, or actually identify the implant system (brand/model) and even things like size? Also, if you’re using this via the API, what do you want to do with the result downstream (drop it into a note, help with treatment planning, generate a report, billing/records, etc.)? And lastly, should this work for radiographs only, photos only, or both — and what kind of images are you typically uploading (intraoral photos, pano, PA, CBCT screenshots)?
