This usually happens when I'm looking at an older session where I previously uploaded a document. In that setting, I may not have access to the original document and I would like to see the document that I uploaded. I basically want to be able to look at any document that's been uploaded before for added context. Regarding the positioning, I don't really mind. It could open in a new window or a new tab, as long as I have access to it.

Thanks for the suggestion, Aslam Bhorat — having an in-context document viewer in the Context tab for uploaded files would be really handy, especially if you’re opening documents multiple times a day. We’ll share this with the team.

To help us understand the ideal workflow, a couple quick questions:

1) What file types are you mainly trying to view there (PDF/DOC/images/handwritten notes)?

2) Do you want the document to open inline in the Context tab, or as a side-by-side split view (similar to how you can position tabs left/right)?

3) Are you usually viewing documents from the current consult, or older uploads from the patient’s history as well?

If you can share a screenshot/mock of where you’d expect the viewer to sit, that’d be super helpful too.
