It would be very useful to be able to download all clinical notes for a given patient/client. Currently, if I want to write a progress report cover a 12-month period I have to go through and manually copy the note from each appointment over that period. It would be extra helpful if there could be a "Download All Clinical Notes Between Dates X and Y".

Multi-select->Extract as ... [Word/PDF] downloads master/compressed file. Imagine the time saved! :)

Very fiddly when having to extract files individually.

Thanks for sharing this — totally get how painful it is to export notes one-by-one when you’re dealing with frequent file requests or bigger reports.
Group download/export (multi-select → export as Word/PDF, ideally bundled into a single zipped file) is a great time-saver. I’ll share this with the team.
A couple quick questions so we capture the workflow properly:
1) Are you wanting to bulk export across multiple sessions, multiple documents within a single session, or both?
2) When you say “master/compressed file,” would a ZIP containing individual PDFs/DOCX files work, or do you want one combined PDF/Word document?
3) Roughly how many notes/documents are you typically exporting at a time (e.g., 5, 20, 100)?
If you have an example of a typical “clinical file request” pack (even just the structure/what’s included), that’d help a lot too.

Thanks for sharing this — exporting multiple notes in one go (by patient or by a selected group) would be a big time-saver, especially if you’re doing it multiple times a day.
To help us pass this on with the right detail, could you clarify a couple things?
1) For HealthBridge, are you hoping to push notes back in bulk directly into the EHR, or export a batch file to upload/import?
2) What format(s) do you need for bulk export (PDF, DOCX, CSV, something else), and should it be one file per note or a single combined file?
3) How would you want to select the notes—by date range, by patient, by appointment list, or by a tag/status (e.g., “finalised”)?
For context, today Heidi can export individual notes/documents as PDF or DOCX to your downloads folder, and our EHR integrations support pushing completed documentation back to the EHR without copy-paste. We’ll share your bulk-export workflow request with the team.

Heidi Team I think for us in our psychotherapy clinic, the key would be to have be able to export all clinical notes for one patient in one file (docx and csv probably preferable to pdf, though options is even better). Even better would be to be able to export all notes in a date range for that patient. The key reason for this for us would be to then add those session notes (say 12 months worth of weekly therapy notes) into the context in Heidi to then help with drafting reports.
