Full-Screen Note Editing

It would be practical to have the option to expand the generated note to full screen so that it can be edited more easily, particularly on smaller screens.

Hi Kate,
Thank you very much. Of course, I'll gladly try it when the beta version is available and give you my feedback.
Best regards.
Francisco.

Hi Francisco, Kate here from Heidi's product design team.
I'm currently working on an overhaul of the Scribe layout: a more focused canvas that puts your content front and center to make it easier to review and edit your note.
I'd love to walk you through the designs and get your feedback, as well as give you early beta access when it's ready. Would you be open to that?
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback and help inform the future of Heidi!
Heidi Team
Thanks for sharing this — a full-screen note editor would definitely make quick edits easier, especially on smaller screens.
I’ll pass this feedback on to the team. In the meantime, have you tried resizing the workspace by dragging the center divider between the tabs/panels? It can help give the note more room on desktop.
A couple quick questions so we can capture this well:
1) Are you mainly looking to full-screen just the note editor area, or the entire Heidi window?
2) When you say “smaller screens,” what size/resolution are you typically working on (e.g., 13” laptop)?

Heidi Team, At work, I use a 24-inch monitor with an extended Heidi workspace by default. I admit that I had not previously used Heidi in full-screen desktop mode, and it does improve the editing experience. However, I usually keep many tabs open and switch between them constantly, so using a full-screen desktop window slows my workflow. I was referring instead to having the option to display only the note editor area in full screen, which would reduce scrolling while editing notes.
