THERE IS NO FEATURE TO REALISE THAT THE LETTER HAS BEEN FINALISED. NOT ALL LETTERS CAN BE FINLAISED AFTER SEEING A PATIENT AND THEY GET MISSED TO BE CORRECTED AND LEFT UNSENT IN HEIDI. THIS SHOULD BE FIXED AS A PRIORITY. I CAN BE CALLED TO DISUCSS THIS AS IT WILL A USEFUL FETURE.

I agree this is something that needs a bit more thought. In my personal practise and workflow, I for example copy and paste the body of the text into a OneNote folder that my secretary then templates in our Document Management System. What I personally would need is an ability to tag, within the Tab of the document, something to indicate that I have finished the letter. It could be colour-coded and customise to the user, similar to the 'Categories' option within Outlook.

The comms here though is essentially for me because I need to be able to run myself that I've finished dealing with a particular document editing and tweaking etc as necessary and don't have to go back and second guess myself.

Thank you for posting, VISHAL GUPTA! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific indicators or notifications would you find helpful to know when a letter has been finalized?
- How often do you encounter the issue of letters being left unsent, and what impact does it have on your workflow?
- Would you prefer an automated reminder system for unsent letters, or a manual checklist to ensure all letters are finalized?

What we probably need is a simple two-step structure:
A “Finalised” checkbox
Once you review a letter and it’s ready to go, you tick the box. That locks the document or at least tags it as complete so nothing slips through.
An automatic reminder for “Unfinalised” letters
If a letter hasn’t been ticked within a certain timeframe — say 24 or 48 hours — the system prompts you. Even a small banner or a notification would do the job.

This needs to be sorted out as a priority; otherwise, it's a big waste of time for all of us.
