hover bubbles in Evidence are disruptive, please design a way to turn this off

“Please add an option to turn off the citation hover bubble in Evidence. On web, the pop up appears when I hover over a reference, and it’s really distracting and disrupts my workflow. A simple toggle to disable it would be perfect.”

Thanks for taking the time to share this — that hover bubble sounds like it’d get annoying fast, especially if you’re in Evidence multiple times a day.
A toggle to disable citation hover previews makes a lot of sense. I’ll share this with the team.
Quick couple of questions so we can scope the best behaviour:
1) Do you want the hover bubble off entirely, or would a delay (e.g., only show after hovering for ~1s) also solve it?
2) Are there specific screens in Evidence where it’s most disruptive (e.g., while reading, while selecting/copying text, while scrolling)?
3) If you’re able, could you share a screenshot or short screen recording showing the pop-up in the way?

thank you for taking my request. I would recommend that the user should have to actually click on the link to get the reference if they want to see more. the most disruptive place for me is when i have asked for evidence on the next best medication strategies or behaviour strategies. I love the evidence feature and am starting to trust that it is not hallucinating with the references like ChatGPT does. If I do want the reference, I can click on it and look further. When I am reviewing the evidence I continually have these pop up references while I am scrolling and reading. a constant nuisance! otherwise love Heidi Evidence
