I need to be able to start a new clinical note and input the patient's name on the mobile app (using iOS) RIGHT AFTER I have just ended a session. When I try to do that it tells me to wait as session is syncing. This is an incredible work flow disrupter as when I go through my visits later on, it takes a long time to attribute patient encounters without being able to name every single one.

Thanks for sharing this — I can see how being blocked by “session is syncing” right after ending a consult would be a major workflow disruptor, especially when you’re doing multiple visits a day.
To help us pass this on with the right detail, could you clarify a couple of things?
1) Are you trying to start a brand-new session immediately, or just rename/assign the patient name to the session you just finished?
2) Roughly how long does the “syncing” state last for you (seconds vs minutes), and does it happen even when you have strong connectivity?
3) If you can, could you share a screenshot of the message and your iOS version + Heidi app version?
We’ll share this feedback with the team — the ability to quickly name/attribute encounters immediately after a session ends sounds like a high-impact improvement for mobile workflows.
