It is odd that on the Heidi home page, it shows a fake animation of the dictation feature in different hypothetical applications, with text appearing as if live dictation. However, in practice the text only appears all at once after releasing the shortcut. Also, should have a toggle switch, not only a hold-to-dictate function. Heidi has a nice idea but false representation of features.

This is CRITICAL we need to see text as it appears otherwise we have to scan every single sentence after the fact to proofread for errors, wasting time which is the whole point of the app for medical users.

Thanks Tom, I think seeing it helped when writing long referral letters for example so you can remember what you have said and not repeat yourself. I use both transcript and dication a lot every day and generally not an issue with the speed. So I am thinking longer dications such as complex patients or referral letters
