Currently, if the user has imported sessions scheduled into the future (e.g. 'this week') Heidi defaults to opening the last session scheduled on opening. It would be more useful if Heidi defaulted to the next scheduled session instead.

I wanted to jump in here too. The "upcoming" and "past" view is such a pain . I would prefer a table to add schedule once loaded it moved to upcoming. We loose track of the patient if they are early it is still upcoming if they are on time or late past - such a time consuming effort searching around for them.

Thanks for sharing this — having the upcoming schedule as the default view makes a lot of sense for day-to-day clinic flow.
To help us pass this on clearly to the team, a couple quick questions:
1) Where are you seeing the “past sessions” view by default (home screen, within a patient profile, or the schedule/appointment book view)?
2) Would you want the default to be “today + upcoming” (e.g., next 7 days), or strictly future appointments only?
3) Should this be a personal preference setting per user, or a workspace-wide default for the whole team?
If you can share a screenshot of the screen you mean, that’d help a lot too. I’ll share your request with the team once we’ve got that bit of context.
