IF the "green button" shows up as "Transcribe", it is natural for the brain to think that Heidi is actually transcribing ,rather than think that Heidi has stopped transcribing and we need to hit "Transcribe" button. This creates a lot of confusion when recordings are paused and resumed. The color scheme needs clear updates. It should be "recording Paused" or "Resume".
There is no clear status that states whether Heidi is recording audio or not. If the system settings are muted, Heidi does not throw a message that says, "no voice heard" and just shows time recorded with no transcript.

Hello Hemamalini Chandrashekhar, thanks for taking the time to write up your feedback.
A key focus for us is making sure sessions always get transcribed, and part of that is making the design as easy as possible to read at a glance. The Transcribe/Resume button is something we've had feedback on both ways, so we're looking into ways to make things clearer relating for the transcription button, UI and comms.
On the second point — Heidi should be flagging a muted or silent mic rather than quietly recording nothing. We've got work underway to improve that warning.
