For the mobile app interruptions to recording are most often due to service connection errors whereas on the web or on the desktop it is more likely due to local errors with the microphone. One way or another once the interruption occurs, as it stands unless you’re looking at the app or computer screen you won’t know that the interruption is occurring. The banner needs to be obvious in its appearance but more importantly I think a unique sound that plays once the interruption kicks in would be extremely helpful for identifying moments where disconnection occurs and allows us to troubleshoot rather than continuing on. Blindly not knowing that our session is not being recorded.

1) What kinds of interruptions are you seeing (loss of internet, app backgrounding, mic permission changes, low battery, sync delays, etc.)?
2) Where should the banner appear, and what should it prompt you to do (resume session, switch to offline recording, retry sync, etc.)?
3) If you have one, could you share a screenshot or a quick example of what you’d want the banner to say?
