Pause Personalization or Hold to Current Personalization

Once it seems like personalizations are well-calibrated, I would like to be able to keep those that I have without adding new personalizations, since sometimes the personalizations are not good for my notes. So a feature like "hold to current personalizations" would be useful, rather than turning them off or on.
