Recording in session indicator

It would be really great if the little circular red dot on the page tab can be green when recording and red when it is not recording. Sometimes Heidi fails and stops recording and I am unaware while I am on a different page working. By the time I notice it had failed, the appointment is over and I have lost a lot of valuable information. Sometimes I also forget that I am still recording and end up with too much information for heidi who then mixes up patient information.

- How often do you find yourself switching between tabs during a recording session?
- Would an audio alert be helpful in addition to the color change to indicate recording status?
- Is there any other feedback or feature you would like to see in the recording functionality?

- I always switch tabs between recording sessions as I work on different windows and have our system open for patient information. I haven't been fully trusting of Heidi as failures happen often so I still keep another window open to type notes as back I asked the other vets and they also switch between tabs too and are frustrated to find after the appointment when Heidi had failed. up.
- The colour change would be most useful. An audio alert in addition would be great as well.
- Anything to help prevent failures or indicate when a recording is no longer happening. I thought it was poor internet connection but my other windows work just fine when heidi is not.
