Reduce size of floating dictation mic

I would like to request to reduce the size of the floating dictation mic that is now part of the features. It is very large and takes up a lot of room. Especially on laptops where the EMR itself is very bulky and taking up the whole screen, I often have to move the dictation mic over to the side and back depending on what I'm trying to click on.

Options would be to make it a horizontal option which would be easy to tuck away in a corner or to have a minimize feature so you can see that it is still running,.

Thanks for taking the time to share this — totally hear you. On a laptop with an EMR taking up most of the screen, a large floating mic can get in the way fast.
The ideas you suggested (a slimmer horizontal layout and/or a minimize state that still shows it’s running) are super helpful — I’ll share this with the team.

1) Which browser + OS are you using (e.g., Chrome on Windows, Safari on Mac)?
2) Where do you usually try to park it (top/bottom corner, left/right), and what UI elements does it most often block?
3) If you can, could you share a screenshot of your typical layout (with the EMR + mic) so we can see the spacing constraints?

Heidi Teamcurrently using MacBook Air 16” with Google Chrome web browser. 
It is often blocking the minimize button on my patient profile on the EMR or patient data on the left. 
I would like to use it on the very bottom or ver top of the screen so it doesn’t interfere with other stuff

I can’t open a patient encounter on the test patient but you can see how it takes up a lot of room
