At the moment, Heidi does not support uploading plain .txt files into the Context (pre-session note) area, only PDF, DOCX, PNG, and JPG.

In real workflows, this means clinicians must:

Open the .txt file in another program

Convert or copy/paste it into a Word document

Then upload it into Heidi

This extra step is time-consuming and disruptive, especially during busy client days.

.txt files are a fundamental, lightweight format and are commonly used for transcripts. Supporting them would make Heidi more flexible and resilient in real-world clinical settings, particularly when users need to recover from recording issues or integrate external transcripts quickly.
