Team note pad / group chat for practice staff (with pop up + replies)

Please add a Team feature where I can post one message to multiple secretaries (e.g., 4 at once) and they can reply back in Heidi. It doesn’t need to be live chat, but it should pop up so they know there’s a message to respond to. Use case: ward secretary messaging office secretaries while in the ward.

Thanks for sharing this — the ward-to-office secretary handoff is a really clear use case, and the “pop-up + replies” piece makes a lot of sense for day-to-day workflow.
A couple quick questions so we can pass the right detail to the team:
1) Should these messages be tied to a specific patient/session, or purely general team notes?
2) Who should be able to start and reply (e.g., Admin/Clinician/Assistant roles), and do you need read receipts or just “unread” indicators?
3) What kind of pop-up would work best on Desktop for you (in-app notification banner, badge count, or something that stays until acknowledged)?
We’ll share this request with the product team. In the meantime, Heidi does support team collaboration features like shared workspaces/templates and team notifications for things like invites and sharing—though not a group message thread today.
