Transcribe The titles!

Hi Heidi Team,
Just wanted to share a quick idea that I think would make a big difference day to day.
One of the things that slows me down most at the moment is creating and naming notes for each patient. It breaks the flow a bit having to stop, open a note, and type something in before getting going. ( I make an entire list)
With my Heidi remote coming, it would be amazing if there was a simple one-press voice option to create and title a note in one go.
For example:
• Press record
• Say: “Jane Smith chest pain”
• It creates a new note titled “Jane Smith – Chest Pain” and starts recording
In reality, that would save loads of time and mean I’m not constantly reaching for my phone. At the moment I’ve kind of stopped opening notes in advance because it slows things down, and just use the phone as a bridge to move info over later.
Something like this would make the whole process feel much smoother, especially in a busy ED setting. one botton.. on .. one button off. The rest is managed by the AI.. making my list in Heidi is a pain, should be an easy fix no!?
Thus the remote could independently carry the information if I had let say 10 on the go.. or if my phone is connected it could do it in real time.. a one button system would be awesome
Anyway.., just a thought, but I think it would be a bit of a game changer.
Thank you

1. Optimally, anything that makes it easier to recognise to transfer later is the priority. A simple name plus a brief discriminator, lightly tidied but not fully standardised, works best. For example “Jane Doe CP” or “John Smith head injury”. The app already describes the problem automatically, so it’s mainly about attaching a clear identifier (name) from the text without over-processing it.
2. in my opinion the best situation is rapid capture. Click on/ click off..Notes can then organisedl later so long they are titled..:
3. Optimally, fully hands-free. Being able to do this with the phone locked or in a pocket is where the real benefit is. Using an autonomous recording device like the Heidi remote will really allow that to happen I think..Opening the app just adds friction. Best situation is saying the name, dictating and it’s done.
Pause and resume would be nice too really
Routinely I am interrupted after recording! Thank you
Heidi Team
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this up — the “press once, say ‘Jane Smith chest pain’, auto-create + title the note and start recording” flow is super clear, and I can see how much friction it removes in a busy ED.
We’ll share this with the team. A couple quick questions so we understand the ideal behavior:
1) Should the title always be exactly what you say (with light formatting like “–” and capitalization), or would you want Heidi to “clean it up” / standardize it?
2) When you say you might have ~10 on the go, do you imagine the remote cycling between active recordings/notes, or just creating them quickly and you manage switching on the phone later?
3) Would you want this to work even if the phone is locked/in your pocket (i.e., fully hands-free), or only when the app is open?
If you have an example of how you currently name your list (a few typical titles), that’d help us design something that matches your workflow.
