Updates within the Heidi app

You need to allow desktop updates to actually run as updates inside the Heidi app. The current system of having to uninstall, download and install a full new application file is not user friendly, and also not possible for a lot of clinicians who use company computers that require admin level permissions to install new programs. A simple update button from within Heidi itself rather than a completely new install will make it possible for users to maintain updates and not be locked out of a product we have paid for.

This is exactly why i prefer to use the web app rather than the windows desktop app.

Hi Holly Montana, thanks for the feedback and I understand the frustration.
If you're using a computer that is managed by your clinic or hospital's IT adminstrators, then depending on their policies, they may control and manage all app updates for your device. In this case, you'll need to contact your IT admins directly for support.
However, if you are using a device that is not managed by your IT administrators, you can update the Heidi desktop app by going to 'Settings' > 'Account' > 'Heidi desktop app' and you can update the app from there.
