We are finding it extremely annoying that the attachments cannot be viewed from Heidi. Especially when we want to double check the clinic prep to make sure the correct docs have been added.

Attachment visibility

Not being able to see all your attachments in a list and no status confirmation is a HUGE drawback and not what id expect from an update.
Can this be feature be put back?
Losing visibility into all attachments and their status is a meaningful change to our workflow.
OR add a TOGGLE button so that we can easily toggle in between to see all our attachments. If you do not have a long monitor you cant even SEE all your attachments to confirm they are ALL attached. Who thought this would be a GOOD IMPROVEMENT??
Please can this be put back, as it's causing me anxiety with no knowing what is actually attached!
Heidi Team
Thanks for taking the time to write this up — totally hear you. Losing a clear list of attachments + a status confirmation would be a big workflow hit, especially if you’re on a smaller screen.
The idea of bringing back the full attachment list (or adding a simple toggle between “compact” and “full list/status view”) is really helpful feedback — I’ll share this with the team.
To help us pass along the most actionable details:
1) What “status” do you need to confirm (e.g., uploaded successfully, attached to the note, sent/shared, processing)?
2) Roughly how many attachments do you typically add per consult?
3) If you can, could you share a screenshot of what you see now vs what you expected (and whether this is in Desktop, Browser, or the Chrome Extension)?

Request to Enable Attachment Viewing in Patient Context and Chat Box
Dave Nguyen
Hi Heidi, I hope you’re doing well. As we continue testing the platform, I wanted to check on one specific capability that appears to be disabled in our current trial environment. Right now, we are able to upload files into the patient’s context section, and the system correctly shows the file names and upload status. However, there is no option to open or view these attachments anywhere within the patient context or the chat box. This prevents us from completing the intended workflow where a physician reviews the uploaded document before beginning the scribe session. Could you please enable the view/preview function for attachments in our trial environment, specifically: The ability to open PDF attachments directly from the patient’s context panel, and The ability to view attachments from the chat box, if applicable This would allow us to fully test the nurse → physician → scribe workflow and ensure the platform aligns with our operational needs. Thank you in advance for your help. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me. Best regards, Dave
