I am LOVING Heidi AI for scribing while in the emergency department. I am working on getting the rest of my residency program and the other residency programs in our hospital system to adopt this note transcription software. The biggest drawback is the lack of integration within EPIC and not being able to keep EPIC Smart Phrases in note templates to pull in static information within my ED provider note on EPIC. When creating a template based off of my EPIC provider note, I lose all 'dot phrases'. After tinkering, I was able to keep the 'dot phrases' within the note template so I can paste in the information, but then I have to manually reinter the 'dot phrases' so they will auto-populate with with things such as (PMHx, FHx, Social Hx, Allergies, Surgical Hx, Imaging orders and results, lab orders and results, prescribed medications at discharge, ekg orders and their results, etc.,) If this solution is able to be resolved you will see mass adoption of this program throughout the United States Healthcare System. I know EPIC is working on their very own version of generative AI and documentation transcription through nuance Dax CoPilot. This is likely many months away from mass implementation, however. The sooner you can accomplish this, you will see considerable growth of this software, company, and the community. Keep up the good work, thanks!

Integrating with Epic would be a “game changer” and I think that Heidi's membership will be very big for that reason. In Canada we are in the midst of deploying Epic throughout the province of Quebec for hospitals..! Imagine 🙂

Hi all - we're deep in development on our Epic integration, and we're in the final 5% of finicky decision-making. I was wondering if someone had a test instance of Epic with mock patients (no PHI) to run us through functionality. It does get challenging wading entirely in the domain of Epic documentation for some of these things! Much love.

Mo from Heidi I use epic as a nurse in emergency department and have access to the play environment with mock patients at work and am willing to work with you.

Akshat Sharma: Thank you. Someone from the integrations will reach out to you via email.
