Integration with eCW for Heidi Health

I am currently using eCW and noticed there is no direct integration with Heidi Health. It would be beneficial to have a seamless integration between Heidi and eCW to streamline our workflow and improve efficiency. This integration would allow us to easily transfer consultation notes and other relevant data between the two systems.

I have been using the VIM integration for about a week. For the most part I really like it. A few issues: 1) it does not pull data from previous sessions when i check the box, but it will if I copy and paste the previous note into the context. Any way around having to copy and paste it? 2) You cannot change which template you are using once you start transcribing. You can do that on the heidi website, but it won't update the note in Vim. 3) Any chance we can get the tasks to carry over to the heidi website when transcribing from Vim? No tasks populate from notes transcribed in Vim. Thanks in advance!

Obviously, being able to pull from the scheduler would be helpful. Not sure how other EHR integrations have been done but E Clinical works uses text box sections, namely history of present illness, examination and assessment would be the most useful. Being able to pull generated notes into the different text box sections would allow for the best use case scenario. It could be used for the examination section as well, but II tend to not rely on AI for my physical examination as a neurologist.

Hello! We plan on releasing an integration with eClinicalWorks through a platform called Vim in Q3. We'll keep you posted on its progress.
In the meantime, can you (and any voters on this post) elaborate on what kinds of features you'd like to see in an integration between eCW and Heidi?
Best,
Joe

Joe from Heidi That's amazing! I wish Heidi could help with placing ICD-10 codes, ordering labs, medications, imaging, referring patient out, etc.
Return date and reason based on discussion.

Joe from Heidi I just used VIM, but unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. It ignored my template entirely and pushed the note to a location where I do not want the data to be. There was no option to work around this rigid integration.
Additionally, none of the requested features are available yet, such as placing ICD-10 codes, ordering labs, medications, imaging, or referring a patient out.
There's a long way to go. I have high hopes for the Heidi team. Please make it happen soon.

Joe from Heidi I also tried and did not like the Vim integration. My notes do not have the same format as was expected from Vim, so the notes did not push over correctly. Also, of course, it didn't pull any information FROM ECW.
I demo'ed another product called Marvix that did have a full integration with ecw. They pulled all notes, documents, labs, results, etc from the last year and were able to use that as context and provide Patient Recap, etc. That would be ideal. ECW unfortunately sucks but I'm in a huge group and we're probably not changing anytime soon. So it would be great if Heidi made our lives easier, less clicking, could automatically go in and summarize all the stuff from the last year and just automatically include it in the note or a Recap.
