Every other appointment today didn’t transcribe and I’d have to ask AI to do it again I which case I was charged a pro credit to do so so now I have zero left and half the time it still wouldn’t transcribe and gave an error message saying too short to transcribe even though these were 30-60 minutes long long appointments. I have used this software for over a week now and last week it worked perfectly and had zero errors or. Issues transcribing. Same room, same ipad placement, same patient placement, literally same set up. What’s happening? I loved the software but now im thinking I may have to go look at others

Using the web app. Verified all microphone settings. Says its recording. It does not create a transcript or note stating it is too short to do anything.

I have had this issue multiple times when my microphone setting was incorrect - there are 2 microphone options in the drop down menu when I am plugged into a monitor at my desk. Only one microphone option (laptop option) works okay, the second option (microphone associated with my monitor) always returns this message despite appearing to be actively transcribing. I have lost multiple long consults in this way.

Issues with transcription

Hi, Just wanted to report numerous issues with transcribing over the last few weeks. Previously we have been using Heidi with no issues but recently the output has been unreliable. It will work fine for some patients and then suddnely even after 1 hour of recording, the transcript will say "too short". It's very variable and I'm not sure what is happening. The microphone is working fine and it is happening on multiple devices

On all attempted notes from today, it says "Error something wrong happened, try again later." In addition, on one of the sessions it also says "Sorry! Unfortunately, the transcript is too short to generate a note" despite the transcript being 11 min long

Tried creating the note on the mobile app and the web app, same errors. Just started 11/19.

I had the same outcome on few occasions, but it was solved after I clicked "Resume" and said a short sentence, for example"date of the appointment...". Than after clicking "Stop Transcribing" the note generated correctly".
I am not sure what generated the error or why it was solved after resuming. I am also not sure if it would work next time for the same error, just wanting to share how it worked for me, maybe it helps when trying to fix it.
