Ability to bulk add new patients

Ability to bulk add new patients - for those of us who don’t have EMR integration can there be a way to add say 26 new Dictations’s rather than having to click new patients 26 times and waiting for the app to do its thing?

Bulk Import and Integration of Patient Details

In a clinic with 20 patients, it would be beneficial to have a feature that allows for the scanning or bulk import of patient lists. This would automatically integrate patient details for each session, saving time and effort in dictating patient information for each letter. This feature would streamline the process and enhance efficiency.

I think having all 3 as an option would be great. I’m not sure how to pull a CSV file from my medical record system (or if I even have access to do that), so it would be nice to be able to do either of the other two, photo for ease of use/speed, but manual input of multiples for assured accuracy.

Thanks for considering this.
In principle, I would like CSV based import
In practicality, screenshot or other processing may be required. This is because most of the EMR I have seen cannot export into a proper format, either only outputting to a "Print" dialog (which can be directed to a PDF) or not at all.
I have had some success using Ai to parse a PDF of patient appointments into a more cohesive list of patients, e.g. using a prompt;
Create a table that summarises the following information from the attached file in the following format (| indicates a new column)
Ptient List List Mar 2025.pdf
I have included an example
Appointment Date & Time| MRN | Firstname | Surname | MRN FirstnameDD/MM hh:mm | 1242535 | Bob | Brown | 1242535 Bob
Lacey Evans

I shall suggest both option (CSV file and screenshot/PDF) because this would work for a wider community.

Hey all!
We're kicking off this project and I'm keen to hear what you think is the best approach and what would work best with your EMRs
We’re considering a few options (but not limited to these) to make adding upcoming sessions into Heidi much easier:
- Screenshot upload: Upload a screenshot of your schedule, and we’ll automatically map the sessions into Heidi
- CSV upload: Upload a CSV file, define the relevant columns, and map sessions into Heidi based on your data
- Bulk session creation: A flow where you can manually add multiple sessions at once— still manual but much faster than creating them one by one.
Keen to hear your feedback
Thanks,

My choice would be in order, CSV, photo then bulk session. CSV would be ideal as you could have appointment time, firstname, last name and NHI (unique identification number so 2 patients with the same name don’t get mixed up) in different columns. More customisable and harder for Heidi to misinterpret.
Thanks

The ability to import a schedule (say from CSV file) until you set up integration with my EHR

You don't yet support my PMS (Elixir) but I could export an appointment list from it to then upload to Heidi if you set up this ability

It would help me also.
