There should be built in option to make the headings and subheadings in bold and in italics , rather than manually doing it

Section Copy and Paste
Andrew Noble
I would like to be able to copy and paste sections of a note that does not involve a drag and copy element movement. For instance having a copy button at the end of each section of the note created from the template would really help. The reason for this is that this is a huge area for mistakes to happen, copying the whole note and then trying to break this down into the electronic patient record template is really difficult and time consuming. I know Heidi are working on integrations but this would be a quick Fix it to reduce the chance of errors. We have some templates in our EPR that have over 40 sections to fill in. We also have policies in our organisation that restricts the use of copy and paste so this would help to satisfy some of the NHS policy makers. This would laso help users who are only using one screen rather than 2. I have submitted this request elsewhere but wanted to put it on here as well.

Voice-to-Cursor (similar to Dragon Medical One)

It would be extremely useful to have direct voice to cursor (as well as voice file transcription) to 'tweaks' letters without the necessity to re-generate from scratch

Regenerate output into a new tab
S
Susan Perel
I'd like the option to regenerate the output into a new tab. Currently when regenerating, it will replace the previous note. I'd like the option to keep the previous note and generate a new one in the next tab for comparison.

Ask Heidi Incorporates changes

Right now when you "Ask Heidi" to change something in the note, it generates a portion of the note (the plan, the HPI, etc) and there is no option to incorporate those changes, only replace the whole note, add it in addition to the old note or make a new tab. It would be great if the "ask Heidi" feature just incorporated it into the final note so you can copy and paste whole updated note without additional clicks.

I would like to section out different parts of the note in Heidi to make it easier to copy the different section of the note. . Example HPI, exam, Assessment and plan, problem list with ICD 10

My EHR Office Ally, the note layout is partitioned in different sections as mentioned above. I have to copy the note from Heidi in section and copy it into my EHR in different sections. Can you also add ICD 10 look up somewhere in the note, maybe in the problems list. Thank you. Great product by the way.

Interesting. For my learning, why would you choose to do that over replacing the previous notes? Susan Perel
Our assumption was there'd be no purpose to retaining the previous note. I'd be open to having my mind changed!

Mo from Heidi You're right it probably isn't really necessary, but sometimes I wouldn't mind the option to generate multiple outputs and then choose to keep the one I like best

Susan Perel: Thanks for clarifying. It seems like a revisions / history view, with perhaps a split-screen component, might be a better fit for your problem here. We'll give it a think.
Please use this ticket as a thought-dump if anything else occurs to you!

Mo from Heidi Sometimes after the transcript has been generated into a note, I will cut and paste some of my own chart notes into the "additions" section and regenerate the note. I find sometimes the regenerated note is worse than the first note and I want to revert back to the original but it is not possible. That's why I was thinking the regenerated notes could appear in a separate tab so you can decide whether to delete the first version or go back to it.

Mo from Heidi There are some aspects of a note that I want to use and then I regenerate to get aspects of another note. I would like to be able to have access to all versions of a note. For example, sometimes I really like the beginning portion of the note to be "Goldilocks" but the plan/psychotherapy to be "detailed". I have to generate multiple notes to achieve this. Same with L/R brain. I don't want detailed from top to bottom of note, and I don't like how concise goldilocks is when trying to chart to psychotherapy content
