I believe a Chrome extension add-on for Heidi would be very beneficial while waiting for integrations with other EMRs. It would increase user efficiency by eliminating the need to switch between tabs when using Heidi and an EMR together online. I have found similar extensions for other Medical AI Scribes very useful, and I think this feature would enhance the user experience with Heidi.

You can download our browser extension compatible with Chromium-based browsers at https://www.heidihealth.com/download. I'll close this ticket, but am aware there are a number of improvements to be made - I'll let those be expressed as separate individual submissions, in the interest of clarity.

It would be great if there was a Chrome extension

If a doctor is doing a phone or video visit on their computer, please make the Browser Extension "listen" to the audio input AND output. It's essential that Heidi hear what the Patient is saying (audio output from the doctor's headset into his ears) and what the doctor is saying into his headset mic (audio input). We use RingCentral to call Patients. It's a VOIP phone system. We pay a monthly fee for our clinic phone numbers. Then we log into the RingCentral website to make and receive phone calls through the computer and a headset + mic. To use Heidi right now, we must log into RingCentral, turn on our desktop Yeti microphone, turn on our desktop speakers, and then call the Patient through RingCentral. We must turn the speakers on so that Heidi can hear what the Patient is saying, as if we're having the conversation out loud face to face, versus in the doctor's headset. Please make the new Heidi browser extensions "listen" to the input and output audio. Also, it would be great if the input and output settings can be viewed and changed right in the Heidi Browser Extension, versus going by the Microsoft settings. Thank you for creating this forum for customers to give share their input.

Can you also make the extension available on Safari?

This would also permit a form of ersatz integration with the numerous web-based Electronic Patient Record systems, without needing API access.
Would be extremely helpful for the less-popular EPR systems (looking at you, Maxims) that may not justify development time for full integration.
