Delete transcript to build follow up visits notes based on previous visits

Be able to delete transcript to build a followup note in the following visit with taking in consideration the previous note. Without opening new notes and add the contex again and do redundant work. Just build on previous plan.
This would be a killer and allow efficiency , Dave time, accuracy and continuity to follow through plan.
Like each patient has notes with creation dates tabs with newest note first. And use the last prior notes as context to the new encounter.
And another killer would be a search button that can pick words not just names.
Your app is fantastic, these features would take your app to another level.

This would be so useful. I currently have heidi set to delete notes daily because I don't want to retain transcripts. But this really is a waste, because the whole report writing is only really useful when combining several visits (which have then been deleted). We also don't have a function to combine several notes into a report.

Last Note feature

The ability to drop in the entire last note from your EMR into Heidi and then have Heidi use that to build context while not getting confused between past and present. This would be similar to preloading notes where the last note is dropped in and then the MD (or assistant) dictates in any testing since the visit. This would then create a skeletonized note for the MD before going into the encounter.

Context Cannot Differentiate Past Visit vs Today's Visit

Right now, Context is unusable. I put past visits in there, and Heidi thinks that it's all examined today's visit even though I explicitly mentioned it's past visit with a date. It produces physical exam notes on based on the past visit, which is frustrating.
I suggest make a section for today and past visit in the Context. Also it would be great if previous notes are automatically connected so I don't need to manually paste the previous note into the Context.

Hi Mose,
We're going to improve context.
A quick fix for now.
If you label what you put in it like
<past visit>
...
<past visit>
It will do much better. Also in your template you can tell Heidi how to use context with an instruction like
(Use context as my past visit notes for this patient, use this as context for today's visit to enrich the notes)
or
(Use context as yesterday's note, use the same structure and headings in today's note as this is a progress note)
