Desktop app remembers window dimensions on re-opening

When I open the app, it always defaults to occupying the full screen even though I have repositioned it to occupy only half the screen before closing it. Is there a way of having the app window opening in the same size and location as when I closed it as is standard for the majority of Mac apps? For a labour-saving application, this promises to be both a constant annoyance. Thank

Please stop the Mac version of the Heidi app from automatically launching in full screen mode. Leads to the need to resize the window every time. Having the option to have it open in Window mode would be nice as I don't want it taking over the entire desktop

I agree. I find this a little annoying and I would expect it to be an eacy software fix.

Save the application window position and size each time Heidi opens.

It opens in full screen and hitting the resize button goes to 25%. I have my EMR open on the left side of my screen and Heidi on my right side of screen. Every time I open Heidi I have to resize and drag the window to the left side of my screen 10+ times a day while all my other apps open to the proper size and location...is there a way to set Heidi to remember its window size and position every time it opens?

Provide an option NOT to open Heidi desktop app in full screen and/or to remember the preferred window size/configuration.

Desktop app Window to remember previous state
Joe Gubbay
Instead of starting in maximised state, the window should start in the same location and size as when it was last closed. That's the usual behaviour for apps e.g. MS Word etc. People often have their apps highly organised, and the current behaviour is messy. Even resizing the current window doesn't behave as expected though it is possible to do.
