Allow users to dictate into an existing note, or create a new blank note to dictate directly into. This will allow users to create dictations after the note has been generated, and use dictation mode as well as transcription mode within one session.

I have experimented with a conditional "if then" statement for additional follow up notes.

It seems to work but not consistently.

It would be good to direct dictate a note seperate to the consult, such as when I want to create a referral to give to the patient but have not yet finished the consult. Currently I do this in another program in a seperate window.

I want to add to this and see if this will function like a chrome extension and allow us to dictate into any text field. For example: when responding to patient results, messages, details in notes to specialist referrals and imaging orders. Think the functionality of dragon dictation, where we can use a macro and Heidi will dictate speech to text and insert it into our text field. Thanks!

I absolutely agree. This would very helpful just to put in the finishing touches and if I could dictate directly where my cursor is, similar to Dragon, it would be quick, accurate and easy.

Once a note or document is transcribed and created, it sometimes needs to be polished, and a few changes need to be made. This is where it would be helpful and faster to then be able to place your cursor somewhere and hit a button to dictate into the text, rather than type.

Direct dictation into the Context box

I would find it very helpful to have the ability to dictate directly into the Context box. Currently, I have to use the Dictate function separately and then copy the text into the Context section. Having a direct voice-to-text feature for the Context box would streamline the process and enhance efficiency.
