I would love to be able to format my templates, IE Bolding Headings, bullet points, Italics. It makes is so much easier to read, but I'm having to manually do this AFTER i copy and paste into my EMR. Please allow us to format our templates!

I have all of the headings I want bolded in my Heidi template, but when it is pushed to Athena, the bolded headings are no longer in bold. It would be AMAZING if I didn't have to go in and reformat these headings. I also find that some of the sections I have created are separate in Heidi, then smush together in Athena. I would absolutely LOVE to not have to reformat everything once it is pushed over. So, yeah, thank you Liz Cook for bringing this up!

Hey all!
You can apply bolding and italics to your template headings (see screenshot)
We are also working on adding more styling options - let me know any issues
Best,

Theo from Heidi When copying this to say e.g. Medtech is copies over like this -
SHx
: Works as a truck driver. - this appears as ** or _Notes taken in association with Heidi -AI_. So it might look nicer in Heidi but looks way worse in the patients notes.

Joseph Ormerod: Hey - does Medtech allow bolding and italics? It might be that the styling is being stripped by them, in which case you can still copy in plain text using the dropdown in the copy button so it doesn't copy these symbols over

Theo from Heidi You tell me, you're working on that integration. Yeah probably but that therefore defeats the purpose.

Hi Here is the way my custom templates are set up to do this - its not 100% reliable but mostly works - tell heidi to format the text like this...
At the end of each section /main heading of the template instruct Heidi re format eg: tell it to italicize quotations in that section
History of Presenting Complaints:
[Describe current issues with all available details, reasons for visit, complete history of presenting complaints etc]
[Describe any other associated symptoms with details (if applicable)]
(any quotations under this heading must be shown in italic font)
At the very end of the whole template after the last heading repeat the instructions how to format the text (eg. if the last section / heading is "Follow up:")
Follow up:
[• you must include and do not omit any next appointment dates and follow-up arrangements and referrals]
(bold the main headings in your output.)
(use rounded bullet points for all sentences except numbered lists.)
( any quotations in your output must be formatted in italic font.)
