Mark a note a "completed" which moves it to a secondary list but does NOT delete it until manually deleted or at the set interval
Jacob Donovan
The "list" gets cluttered. It would be AWESOME to mark a note as completed / transferred and copied but keep it in a "completed notes" tab that would disappear from the "past" and "scheduled" areas.
Like a third tab for "OK I copied this over but if needed for a letter later, referencing, or looking at the transcript I can still find it until 7 days has passed.
Just to keep things less cluttered.

Sort sessions by checked and unchecked status

I would like to have the ability to sort my sessions by their checked and unchecked status. This feature would help me organize my sessions more effectively, distinguishing between those that are completed or linked and those that are not. It would enhance my workflow by allowing me to quickly identify and manage sessions based on their status.

Need a way to mark or track which sessions they have completed.

You need a way to mark or track which sessions they have completed and sent to their medical software program, as they manually email the edited Heidi notes for legal documentation right

Highlight uncopied session notes in session list

Add a red highlight or icon to the session list for any sessions where notes have not been copied into the patient file. This would help users quickly identify and ensure notes are entered in Best Practice for each visit.

this is marked "closed" i think because it was merged to a post asking to separate sessions by dictated or transcribed, but I thought that it was asking for a different feature - I'd like to be able to mark a session DONE once I've reviewed, edited, and added it to the patient chart in my EMR. So sorting DONE (as marked by user) vs not done (i.e. generated but unreviewed) would be useful. Not dictated vs transcribed.

Extremely disappointed to learn that this feature was marked "closed" after it was rolled out - ONLY for Practice and Enterprise (not Pro) users, despite the number of requests for it here. I suspect many other users who run small single-provider practices that do not need all of the extra "team" features of a more expensive account would benefit from this feature to keep their session lists organized for their own reference. Sincerely hope this is not a sign of things to come from Heidi (i.e. reserving more features for more expensive accounts that would be less widely accessible to providers)

Option to separate sessions into dictated versus transcribed sessions
Alana Eastaugh
I'm using a combination of smart dictation and transcription throughout the day with my consults. It would be useful to be able to separate each category so that when I am creating new templates and want to experiment with previous transcribed sessions I can navigate this more easily (rather than sifting through the sessions manually to find out which ones I've used the transcribe option on)

Indicator of status of note (i.e. draft, final version, complete, ready to be moved to EMR, already copied to EMR etc)

A way to indicate that the note is the way you want it so it can be copied into EMR. A way to indicate that it is ready, and then has been done so that one can decide to delete or flag items for further review. I have a person who does this for me but doesn't always know that what has been noted is not necessarily the final draft and is not ready for being entered in the chart

visual indication that a session is completed and the nots are ready to be filed

I don't have an integrated EMR and I need to file manually all the notes/letters. I would prefer to delegate this to a staff member since I am spending as much time (if not more) filing my notes at the end of the day as to review/complete the notes themselves. However, there is no clear way to indicate to the supporting staff that a note/session is completed and ready to be filed vs a session where I need to review/complete.
I think this has been requested in the past and would be a amazing feature and hopefully easy to integrate. What about just a way to highlight with a bright color the session tab in the schedule column indicating that the documents are ready to be filed?
Thanks!
