Mark a note a "completed" which moves it to a secondary list but does NOT delete it until manually deleted or at the set interval
Jacob Donovan
The "list" gets cluttered. It would be AWESOME to mark a note as completed / transferred and copied but keep it in a "completed notes" tab that would disappear from the "past" and "scheduled" areas.
Like a third tab for "OK I copied this over but if needed for a letter later, referencing, or looking at the transcript I can still find it until 7 days has passed.
Just to keep things less cluttered.

A way to indicate that the note is the way you want it so it can be copied into EMR. A way to indicate that it is ready, and then has been done so that one can decide to delete or flag items for further review. I have a person who does this for me but doesn't always know that what has been noted is not necessarily the final draft and is not ready for being entered in the chart

visual indication that a session is completed and the nots are ready to be filed

I don't have an integrated EMR and I need to file manually all the notes/letters. I would prefer to delegate this to a staff member since I am spending as much time (if not more) filing my notes at the end of the day as to review/complete the notes themselves. However, there is no clear way to indicate to the supporting staff that a note/session is completed and ready to be filed vs a session where I need to review/complete.
I think this has been requested in the past and would be a amazing feature and hopefully easy to integrate. What about just a way to highlight with a bright color the session tab in the schedule column indicating that the documents are ready to be filed?
Thanks!

Just started using Heidi and this is the biggest drawback compared to what we are also using

Check box for notes that have been moved to the EMR

Would be great if there was a checkbox somewhere in the encounters tab where we can check it off once we have completed moving the note into our EMR.

I have started incorporating tick boxes at the start of my patient note - I manually tick them once note pushed to cliniko and again when patient clinic letter created. Its not ideal. Before integration i used to do a > or @ or £ symbol in the patient name to indicate completion or not. This isnt possible since you cant edit them. The PUSH to CLINIKO button should go green when pushed. And the Notes need to go finalized to cliniko since they are edited and corrected in Heidi. This is so important

YEESSSS I agree!
Like I know I need to review and adjust notes but if I don't have a chance to do it as soon as a session is done, I wish I could mark them as draft or final and then ARCHIVE them rather than them being deleted, even better if archiving them deleted the transcript but kept the associated documentation.

Now that notes are synced to Cliniko i want a symbol to indicate that it has been sent (i know that there is a green box that pops up temporarily) but at the end of the day/week there is no way to know if ive done this so just click it again in some cases.
There needs to be also an indication if a note or letter or document has been copied so that I know that it is completed. There are occasions I'll let Heidi finish a note in another window and i'll move to the next patient so have multiple windows open and then it gets confusing what is complete and what isnt.
Given you are not encouraging us to keep patient notes in Heidi and not delete them - allowing linked notes - I need a way of knowing a patients file is finished. SO just the current - uncopied and unsynced notes are showing. Yes perhaps a filter folder - one for notes only, one for notes and other outputs one for unsynced notes, uncopied documents etc,
