Transferrable Context

This feature would be excellent, but is there a way it could be implemented without keeping all the transcripts? I would love to have my client's previous notes to be pulled as context into new notes, letters etc. However, I want to keep my existing settings that involve deleting transcripts after a day.

Memory from prior linked sessions

It would be amazing if Heidi could pull memory or 'context' from prior sessions linked to that client. So it knew maybe what session number we are up to, what we spoke about last session etc... because sometimes it lists disclosures from clients as if they're brand new when they're not. Also when generating GP letters or other review materials it only pulls from current session - would be great if it could pull from all sessions linked to client for a comprehensive GP letter etc...

Patient folders

It would be fantastic to be able to create patient folders where the AI considered previous entries for the patient as part to the treatment summary for the current session. I am a speech pathologist and I see clients every week/fortnight working on a set of goals so having the AI to consider the outcomes and recommendations from a previous session and apply that context to the notes of the current session would be amazing.

SUPER helpful!

Yes definitely!! Would be helpful if I could include in a template something like "Previous Visits:
[Include 1- or 2-sentence summary of notes from prior sessions, organized by date (if available)]"
as a neurologist, we often are doing a workup progressively over several visits, or trying different medications, and it would be helpful to carry that information over to new session notes automatically in this way, so each note is "complete" in information in that way.

However, Heidi doesn’t seem to be able to interpret this as past information even though I ask the AI to recognise it has past information. Being able to enter in pass consult notes into context would be very useful.AAlt Alternatively, getting Heidi to integrate with Genie medical software would be very helpful.ed

Would be super helpful! Not only do you get a quick review of the last visit, but can make follow up notes even better and faster by being able to track and measure progress.

Yes! I came to submit the same request, that context be transferrable since client sessions can be linked anyways. This would allow me to input a blurb about the client's background, treatment goals, and other things I'd like Heidi to be aware of on an ongoing basis.

Raff W We were just working on this in the office minutes ago. Quick question - do you anticipate you'll want to use all the past sessions as context every time, or will you de-select certain sessions from context?

Mo from Heidi amazing! I dont think i would know which sessions to de-select ...I think I'd want all past sessions as context, not sure why I'd want to leave any out. I could always ask heidi to leave out certain info if relevant

Raff W Makes sense - thank you

Mo from Heidi Firstly it's great to see team interaction with suggestions, thanks for that! I wanted to add my input as I went to reply to this suggestion anyways. I and my colleagues would just keep all sessions selected the vast majority of the time. I also wanted to note a benefit of this suggestion being that we could generate treatment plans from a custom template if we had the ability to connect all sessions associated with a client and that capability would be an absolute game changer, especially for newer therapists who are still trying to find their way with documentation and find it intimidating. I know several who currently use ChatGPT to help with treatment planning and being able to localize it to Heidi instead would be amazing! Thanks again for your engagement :)

Alycia Straeter: Ha! Appreciate it.
Yeah we figured this would be the case most of the time. There is still a delicate balance to be found in not overweighting distant and "irrelevant" sessions. We're also working on @ function calling past sessions into a template, almost exactly the way you describe.
As an aside, I definitely want to get clinicians away from chatGPTing patient material!!
