Upload images (media) to document
Mo from Heidi
Some users have requested the ability upload images to DOCUMENTs / LETTERs.
Images including, but not exclusive to:
- Google images for patient explainers
- Locally stored images
- Photographs of the patient
One such workflow example: a dentist currently exports his LETTER -> opens in Word -> uploads images -> emails to patient.
Solving this would deprecate the requirement to leave Heidi to complete DOCUMENTs.

Love the new update. Will be very handy. Suggestion: Consider adding the ability to copy and paste an image directly into the "Context" tab rather than needing to upload the image as a file.

Hey everyone! We've just released this feature - You can now add more context to the session from any files you have - be that a photo of a hand written note or typed note
Feel free to give it a go and read about it in more detail here:

Theo from Heidi In the Browser, you allow upload of .pdf, .png, .jpg, .docx, .doc.
In the Android app, you allow upload of .mp3, .wav, .mp4
Why is this so inconsistent?
Why can't I upload a simple plain .txt file in either the browser or Android app (for instance, if I need to upload the text transcript of the consultation)?
Why can't I upload audio in the browser, despite it being possible in the Android app?
Why can't I upload a .m4a audio file in the Android app (the audio format used by Google Recorder)?
Why can't I upload documents or images in the Android app, despite it being possible in the browser?
This is creating major headaches. Please allow the upload of "common sense" filetypes and make it consistent between all platforms.
Thank you

If an individual refuses to consent to transcription during our conversation then I have to manually record notes then dictate report. Being able to upload my typed notes e.g. in word and ask AI to put the info into my report format would be great!

Ability to paste/upload screen shots and files into the context tab. Use AI vision model/OCR to parse the text the screen shots so that it is available for incorporating into the transcription. e.g specialist letters and results. thanks!

As a psychologist, I often write formulations, progress reports, treatment plans, or discharge summaries based on 12-24 months' worth of notes. It would be so great if there was a place for me to upload/copy & paste those files into Heidi to use them as the input data for documents and notes. Currently, I'm putting it into the "context" tab or in the "dictation" tab, but it seems a bit clunky as Heidi seems to struggle to recognise the different dates the notes are for etc. Thanks for this amazing product!

I would love to be able to upload patient documents such as lab results and outside records so that Heidi can summarize case history and incorporate details from that into notes/referrals
