Feature Requests

When I end dictation, I want to automatically create multiple documents. iScribe does this really well (can choose as many as you like). e.g. Custom Note + Patient letter + letter to referring GP all to happen automatically for every new case I see as a specialist.

I would love to be able to provide document formatting options in the template or after the document is made - such as changing the font to a smaller size or the font type. When I export it as a word document I can do this but then i would have to save it as a PDF, etc. It would be cool if I could put in the template at the top [make the entire document Optima font, size 10pt]. Even better, would be the option to make it branded with a beautiful simple canva type of template option with logo and branded colors. also importing a signature at the bottom would be helpful for letters that need to go out on letterhead with a doctor's signature at the bottom.

Custom tags offer endless possibilities. Mark documents as complete or in progress (eg so secretaries know which ones to send out). Mark documents with outstanding actions (eg book scans). Mark paid or unpaid, etc etc.

Currently, note search results are organized randomly

File upload feature is amazing, but currently I have to save the file to desktop then upload (unless I am doing something wrong) would be amazing to drag and drop so file never gets saved to my computer.

Have patient emails stored in their profile, then have an option on "Send as email" button to send to the patient. I currently have a patient session summary document template that I often email to patients, but have to manually put in their email each time. Would be nice to do that semi automatically.

I have integration version of Heidi and I can not add attachment to context from within Shexie(my software) although I can do it on your web site

I appreciate that the zeitgeist with AVT is for tighter integrations with existing EHRs. However there is still a need for the ability to produce polished documents directly from application: a need for more sophisticated 'old school' Word processor and desktop publishing feature set - simpler things like flexible font type, font size, text colour options through to use case needing boiler plate/header graphics for letters and perhaps integration with electronic document signatory platforms (DocuSign and the like). Would be interested to know if these things are/might be in development pipeline

Heidi defaults to American spelling of many commonly used words (e.g., behaviour vs. behavior). It would save me some time if I could specify in settings that I would like to use Canadian English
