It would be really great if the patient history column could collapse down by date so that is more organized and easy to scroll back

Resources tab on the left hand side of the screen under templates. This feature would allow clinicians to permanently store resources.

1: Select font and other text formatting for a letter. Add in a custom letterhead + signature. Export a .pdf, .word file with a modifiable file name.

Make it easy to prime Heidi with a GP referral, survey or patient registration form! heidi works best when she's primed with some patient info - is it possible to have PDFs from the patients Gentu clinical file pull/push automatically into heidi to be uploaded as temporary priming to inform the scribe of the background (e.g. survey result PDF or the GP referral letter). This would be a significant help in our workflows as current process looks like:->Export file to PDF saver in gentu->save in folder->Drag from folder into heidi (without getting wrong patient!)

... Really need the option to have some simple WYSIWYG desktop publishing/typographic tools to create more professional-looking documents. I want to be able to do this natively within the Heidi environment for situations where the content isn't being passed on for manipulation within a further word processing/EHR environment.

I appreciate that Heidi is primarily for content generation, but as it evolves and expands in its functionality, it really needs more sophisticated methods for auditing the life cycle of a generated document. At the simplest level, there needs to be some simple visual method of determining when somebody within a group of users has, for example, emailed or printed a given letter/document within the Heidi environment, come and ideally with more comprehensive document access logs

Ability to set different retention periods for transcripts and notes. Transcripts could be deleted after a set period (e.g., 2 months), while notes are retained longer for reference and workflow needs, such as generating review letters or referring back to assessments.
