Feature Requests

It would be nice to be able to edit the transcript, i.e delete certain parts not relevant or confusing info captured during the consultation.

Love Heidi. 2. PLEASE, if the "record" icon in the tab/or the tab itself could flash/change color/or something to let me know transcribing is active when I'm in a different tab, that would be so helpful. Maybe change the favicon to a different symbol? I use the context section to smart dictate the night prior to the patient's visit. I generally review my last notes and identify topics that I need to address/cover with the patient the next day during their primary care visit or follow up visit. Heidi is doing a good job of using the pre dictation information in the final note, but I still have to make notes to myself (or in the ER) of the topics to cover. A "To Be Discussed" option of some type would be very useful. [Based on the information provided, provide me with a list of topics to discuss during the visit.]

I would like to allow Heidi Mobile to transcribe phone calls

It would be very helpful if Heidi could label speakers in the transcript ("Speaker 1", "Speaker 2" etc) as it is quite time consuming going through the transcript afterwards and having to figure out when I spoke vs when the patient spoke.

It would be nice if some sort of sound/notification could be made if there is an issue with the microphone picking up the audio? I am not often looking at the Heidi window when in a session and can't therefore tell if there are issues with the recording. I have had a few consultations that were not transcribed due to this reason. Very frustrating.

It would be wonderful if Heidi titled the session with the patient's name that is included in the transcript during the interview without the need to add it manually

(1) Transcripts are automatically analysed after stopping and when making changes in session settings which slows the workflow down significantly. A button to start analysis or regenerate should be available to manually start an output especially in the mobile app. (2) Create folders for individual patients so that multiple entries for the same patient can be made in a folder - this is best for daily ward rounds. (3) There needs to be an option to save an output locally that won't get overwritten by an automatic output generation.

I copied previous visits of a patient into the context section and wanted Heidi to give me a summary, using my summary template. I did not want to generate it without transcription.

It would be nice to have a quiet beep sound every time transcription starts and ends

If you forget to stop/restart the transcription between patients and end up with a 40 minute transcript for 2 different patients, it would be helpful to be able to place a marker in the transcript in order to split them into separate sets of notes. This might also be helpful/save time for consultations where an owner brings 2 or more pets in and it all gets lumped into the same recording. Situations sometimes also occur where an unrelated phone call (regarding a different patient) is mistakenly incorporated into the previous consult's notes because the transcript wasn't stopped. These are all avoidable situations, but they definitely happen regularly enough that it would justify a feature to "exclude everything after this point in the transcript" or "split into 2+ sets of notes at this/these points".
